The Custody & Fund ServicesTechnology and Strategy VP based in London will be responsible for DataQuality, helping drive the effective delivery of key programs for the GlobalClient Account Services (CAS) team. The hybrid DataScience/Business Analyst role will require working with stakeholders across theCustody and Fund Services businesses, looking to leverage data quality andmanagement best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan businessunits. Key rolesand responsibilities:
Baseline data quality metrics - Identify create, produce and track key performance indicators and metrics.
Identify key risk data and process items
Ability to mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them to management
Analyze data for trends and patterns, and Interpret data with a clear objective in mind
Undertake review of current business and systemic processes with a view to identify efficiency and automation opportunities
Working knowledge of industry wide data quality toolsets to support identified data validation and remediation.
System and process data mapping
Creating data visualisations; dashboards, controls, real time reconciliations
Design and Implement proactive data monitoring.
Agile Project management and Business analysis experience.
Excellent working knowledge of SQL, MS Access and Excel
Custody and Fund Services Product knowledge strongly preferred
Experience of Data Governance principles would be advantageous
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills to MD level
Confidence in communicating internally at all levels; candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority (up-to Managing Director level) across Corporate/Firmwide, Finance, Risk, Compliance , Operations and Technology teams.
Effective change management skills. Ability to support & adopt within a changing environment.
Self starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard
Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
Business process reengineering mind-set (ie Six Sigma)
