J.P. Morgan Treasury Services (TS) is one of the world's largest providers of treasury management services. J.P. Objective: Increasingly, JPMorgan is delivering sophisticated cross-border solutions. These solutions include physical, multi-bank, notional and cross-currency solutions. We are also introducing further complex global solutions including Global ECR and Group LMA. These will be expanded with enhanced off-balance sheet solutions including Rules Based LMA. All of these solutions require bespoke Product Manager Client Solutions (PMCS) support given their complex tax, legal, balance-sheet, regulatory, and client structuring components. Often these solutions are booked in different regions than the region in-which it was sold. To better coordinate and control these complex cross-border solutions, the PMCS roles will - while having strong local/regional alignment - be lead centrally. While focusing on the complex products, this group will continue to support - when necessary - the more basic products.
This Executive Director level position will be accountable for all PMCS activities regionally. Along with the regional product head, the PMCS head will work closely to design the marketing materials for these products.
The position reports to the Global PMCS Head and will work closely with the regional Liquidity Management Head. The job will be based in Singapore.
Work with Legal, Risk and Compliance to ensure all products are distributed in alignment with all regulations and policies. Drive risk management process on an end-to-end delivery perspective. The PMCS will be responsible for communicating adjustments to strategy and/or development as demanded by changing regulations.
Ensure controls are in place to minimize errors and breaks in on-boarding and servicing process.
Embrace an end-to-end focus on controls as a part of business strategy. Appropriately raise any risk/control issues.
Identify solutions to clients that reduce manual processes and customizations. Financial Management
Lead the realization of financial plan for all Liq Sol products in alignment with regional plans.
Ensure products are 1) marketed without impact to balance sheet efficiency (net down where appropriate), 2) do not support arbitrage (e.g. cross-currency notional maths), and 3) are consistent with global, regional, and country funding strategies.
Review business results with global and regional Senior Management monthly.
Adapt marketing to changing internal and external market / regulatory factors to achieve financial plan. Identify alternative marketing strategies to react quickly to changing market factors. Align changes with regions.
Provide detailed analysis of pipeline performance, understand impacts, and develop strategies to mitigate risks in achieving plan.
Develop multi-year sales strategies and alignment with tight alignment to client facing and other key business partners.
Lead a team of PMCS professionals who are accountable for supporting the TSM's and Bankers in achieving the Liq Sol plan.
Leverage extensive industry, product, and client knowledge to broaden and deepen knowledge within PMCS and client facing teams.
Act as talent-magnet to leverage industry knowledge and experience to attract and retain top talent for open positions. Attract diverse candidate list and ensure JPM diversity values are fully employed in interview and hiring decisions.
Actively engage with team to create strong feedback loop, ensure strong career planning for team, and detailed development plans for weaker performers.
Work with TS product heads to analyze client needs and competitive, industry and market trends. Provide feedback to product management team on market trends, competitive trends, and other market intelligence.
Work with Legal, Risk and Compliance to align product documentation negotiations and control points in client negotiations.
Align across regions to drive global business and strategy.
Identify new market opportunities and innovation strategies.
Align closely with TS business / product partners to ensure strong cross-sell opportunities to drive multi-product revenue. Align with other LOB's (e.g. IS, JPMAM, JPMS) to further cross-sell.
Sales and Marketing:
Develop strategy to position, price, promote and implement products.
Train Sales and CSO communities.
Work with Sales to create client level sales plans with revenue targets.
With Product, develop 'Ready to Sell' plan to include internal and external marketing communications for locally and globally lead initiatives.
Ensure comprehensive on-boarding and servicing for all products.
Work with Marketing to create comprehensive marketing plan
Directly engage in client calling efforts, advisory council, public speaking and media opportunities.
Support active cross-selling of Liq Sol capabilities with Core Cash and other LOB solutions.
Extensive experience (10+ years) of Product Management expertise in Liquidity Services, in multiple geographies is desirable.
Extensive experience of Transactional Service, Cash Management & Liquidity business.
Significant experience (5+ years) with large corporate, insurance, bank, and non-bank FI cash and liquidity structures, deployment, and policies.
Significant experience in crafting cross-border multi-currency multi-entity cash concentration solutions.
Expert knowledge of on sheet products and regulations/policies regarding balance sheet treatment.
Detailed knowledge of TS related risk and regulatory environment. History and reputation for strong compliance with all regulatory requirements in both letter and spirit of law.
Proven generator of ideas and history of bringing products to market in APAC.
Highly collaborative approach. Able to work across global matrices.
Strong competitor and market knowledge.
Excellent reputation in business. Able to attract and retain top advisors.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent communicator and presenter, Mandarin speaking is desirable.
