The Compensation Advisor is an individual contributor under general supervision who supports Advent Health Systems and the Central Florida Division South (CFD-S) compensation philosophy and programs. This position's primary responsibility is to liaise between Corporate's Center of Expertise, Shared Services Compensation team, regional HR Business Associates, functional and campus leaders to ensure the smooth communication, education and implementation of compensation programs and to work with each to resolve any related questions. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Identifies and solves problems using data collection methods, analysis, experience, and judgement.
Proficient in Excel and all aspects of Microsoft Office
Self-motivated, with good organizational, follow-up, computer, project management and analytical skills
Able to conduct oneself professionally, maintaining confidence and confidentiality
PeopleSoft, MarketPay, HRIS (SunPort), Microsoft Office Suite, regulatory compliance (Preferred)
Ability to handle challenging conversations (Preferred)
Bachelor degree in business administration, finance or related field Or
Associates degree in business administration, finance or related field and 2 years in Compensation
Additional two years applicable compensation/auditing/finance/accounting/payroll/records management/HR experience
Experience working with leadership in a professional environment (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)(Preferred)

Consults with Central Florida Division South Acute Care Services (ACS) and Integrated Health Services (IHS) leadership and management on complex compensation matters, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Builds relationships with campus and functional HR and business leaders in order to provide proper guidance and successful implementation around equitable base and variable pay programs and bonuses.
Responsible for collaborating with leaders to ensure current department job structures are reflected accurately in the market data selected in Market Pay.
Reviews, adjusts and maintains the validity of selected market survey matches and works with AdventHealth Center of Expertise to ensure impact of market adjustments aligns with department structure.
Consults with Human Resources and management on intermediate to complex compensation matters with particular emphasis on variable and incentive pay. Assists in the development and documentation of procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assists Human Resources (HR) in developing, understanding and communicating compensation policies, procedures and programs which support the Florida Hospital compensation philosophy in order to recruit, retain and reward team members.
Communicates, educates and reports on Performance Management program until transition to new Shared Services program. Provides training and guidance in the administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures; prepare educational presentations and documents.
Communicates compensation reports not captured in existing PeopleSoft reports such as those that are needed for government and organization mandates such as DNV or QAPI.
May assist Shared Services in compression analyses and internal equity questions if requested. Assists AHS COE Compensation with program education and communication as needed.
May complete wage and other surveys conducted by other organizations in a timely manner.
May lead department specific projects and programs relating to compensation.
Participates on various committees as requested. Participates in professional activities to develop advanced knowledge of compensation developments.
