The Assistant Director of Admissions serves as a key member of the University's enrollment team. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing and executing the recruitment plan, coordinating outreach activities and events, identifying strategies that support special populations, and supervising the recruitment team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in higher education or related field
Skilled communicator (oral and written), with success in developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
Effective in developing and implementing recruitment, marketing, and communication strategies
Commitment to developing an inclusive, highly collaborative work environment among faculty, staff, and students
Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
Earned Master's Degree
At least 5 years of progressive admissions or recruitment experience
Organization and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines
Supervisory experience, with the ability to provide effective leadership for team members
Ability to exercise solid professional judgment and maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new and changing technology in enrollment management
