Multiple hires will be made from this posting in accordance with the needs of the school. Individuals may be hired at 100% or less depending on the needs of the school and the individual. Individuals may be hired on a 12-month or a 9-month appointment depending on the needs of the school and anticipated workload. Appropriate rank will be determined at time of hire, following assessment of skills/experience.
Clinical faculty members will be expected to have demonstrated teaching effectiveness, scholarly productivity, service to the community or profession, and participation in the governance of the School of Nursing and the University. Faculty will teach across all educational programs as appropriate. Clinical practice in the area of expertise may be incorporated as part of the position. Opportunities exist for formal leadership in the clinical setting or advanced practice specialty curriculum.
Earned doctorate, PhD or International equivalent, or comparable qualification. In rare circumstances, a masters degree (Instructor level) could be considered.
