This professional information technology position spans a broad range of in-depth technical support activity including, but not limited to, computer, server and peripheral hardware and software installation, configuration, optimization and large-scale systems management.
This position is generally structured to be second tier with some third-tier system support responsibilities. Sound customer service principles must be applied while fulfilling the technical function with technical teams and end users. This position may serve as technical lead on special projects that require an in-depth understanding of complex IT environments and systems.
Expansive knowledge of desktop/workstation hardware/software/operating systems (configuration and connectivity)
Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of file servers, applicable software, and troubleshooting techniques
Expansive knowledge and experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, scripting, batch files and software deployment techniques
Working knowledge and experience with software deployments using Microsoft's SCCM, JAMF, AirWatch
A good understanding of PowerShell scripts
A good understanding of systems administration and security principles
Ability to do needs analysis and technology upgrade planning and implementation
A thorough understanding with enterprise management technology for Windows and Macintosh platforms
A working knowledge of ITSM
Familiarity with installation, maintenance and support of wireless technologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills sufficient to interact with a variety of users and other technical staff
Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet inflexible deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum of at least 4-7 years' experience
Must have a driver's license and be able to lift 40 lbs
