MOSourceLink is making Missouri the state for innovation, driving ideas and talent that result in business creation and expansion and create the jobs of tomorrow. With a network of 500+ business-building resources, MOSourceLink helps aspiring and existing business owners start, grow and accelerate businesses across the state. This position will be based out of St. Louis, MO.
MOSourceLink also identifies gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and then strategically works with partners to fill those gaps and strengthen support for businesses, all while measuring and reporting on the progress of the ecosystem.
The key responsibility of this position is to provide a direct link between services within the MOSourceLink network and the individuals in the community who need these services. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable handling both phone and email communication.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Monitor and respond to all MOSourceLink inquiries via phone, email and walk-in traffic.
Evaluate client needs and provide appropriate and timely feedback through phone, email and face-to-face meetings.
Document all services provided to clients and provide regular reporting to Program Director.
Enter data into and monitor the database of MOSourceLink clients; help train service providers in use of MOSourceLink tools.
Keep website data current and support social media initiatives.
Research and promote entrepreneurial resources and events across the state, focusing on eastern Missouri.
Represent MOSourceLink at events and form relationships with the entrepreneurial resources within the MOSourceLink network.
The successful candidate must:
Have excellent telephone, email and face-to-face customer service skills.
Be detail oriented with demonstrated administrative skills.
Demonstrate a proven ability to listen to the needs of people, assess their needs and refer to appropriate resource.
Understand of the needs of entrepreneurs at various levels. Have the ability to learn the capabilities of the service providers within the network.
Have demonstrated skill in working with partners.
Possess strong skills in Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Have ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Event planning and coordination a plus.
Work with a high degree of integrity and hold high ethical standards.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

BS in Business, communications or sociology
Two years of customer service experience
