Lipscomb University is seeking a Data Specialist for our IDEAL (Igniting the Dream of Education and Access at Lipscomb) program. IDEAL is a postsecondary education program for students with Intellectual Disabilities (ID). The IDEAL program has the ultimate goal of graduating individuals with improved independent social, communication, and vocational skills who will be prepared to work in a preferred job setting. IDEAL students participate fully in the college environment while taking two classes a semester, participating in extracurricular activities, and taking specially-designed employment skills classes. There is an emphasis on job skills through on-campus and off-campus jobs. Ideally, students will leave Lipscomb with a job in place and will be prepared to live and work independently.
Primary Responsibilities: Develop cohesive data collection system that can be useful in grant funding and program modifications Develop systems to determine effectiveness of third year program Manage grant data system Monitor and track data on IDEAL alumni
Education: Doctorate Degree
Experience: 1 to 3 years

Education: Doctorate in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field required. Postdoc preferred; student in a doctoral program would be considered.
Experience: Extensive experience with students with disabilities is required.
