Assistant Professor – Tenure Track Healthcare Management Department of Management Harrison College of Business and Computing 2 Positions Available
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in healthcare management based on expertise and specialty. (Startup teaching load is 9 hours per semester, which includes 3 credits of research reassignment from a 12 credit load based on research productivity. Instruction modes may involve ITV and online instruction.)
Produce scholarly publications consistent with AACSB accreditation and institutional standards
Provide department, college, and University service according to departmental tenure and promotion guidelines

The Department of Management is in the Harrison College of Business and Computing which has AACSB accreditation and approximately 1500 undergraduate students and 200 graduate students. In the area of Healthcare Management, the Department of Management offers a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Healthcare Administration, a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and a MBA emphasis in Healthcare Administration.
Ph.D./DBA or ABD (Doctorate completed by January 1, 2020 or August 1, 2020) in Healthcare Management or related discipline (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/ government certified university.)
Demonstrated ability to deliver highly effective teaching for a variety of courses in healthcare management
Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor students
Demonstrated ability to produce quality peer-reviewed research related to healthcare management
Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with external constituencies
