What we need:
Weâre currently seeking full-time experienced(18 Months+) Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & WhiteMemorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursingopportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital isa 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Centerbetween Dallas and Austin.

This 36-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit providesthe opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age fromAdults to Geriatrics. The conditionsthat are within the scope of service for 4 south include but are not limited tothe following:
Coronary Artery Bypass
Pre/Post Heart Transplant Patients
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
Percutaneous Trans-luminal coronary angioplasty
Congestive Heart Failure
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring

Certifications: VentricularAssistive Device Program, Chest Pain Center, Comprehensive Stroke Program,Transplant Program, ACLS/NIH within 6 months,

The Cardiac Care Unit works hand inhand with multidisciplinary teams of social services, case management, physicaltherapy, respiratory therapy and dietary. Care of patients on the Cardiac CareUnit are grounded on the principals of best evidence based practices to providequality care to patients. Requirements ofthe Ideal Candidate:
Graduateof RN School of Nursing
ADNrequired; BSN preferred
Mustbe licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examinersfor the State of Texas
Minimum18 Months of RN experience, Acute Careor Hospital setting preferred
BasicLife Support (BLS) Required.
Functionscompetently and effectively under pressure and emergency situations

Note:If you have less than 6 months of experience, we recommend that you apply to our nursing internship program. Internships are available for new graduates and experienced nurses in a variety of specialties. New classes begin in January, June, and September.
