The Assistant Director Student activities serves an integral role in the Office of Student Activities. They provide advising and consultation to a diverse portfolio of Recognized Student Organizations, including University Union, the official student-run programming board of Syracuse University. This role works closely with the leadership of these student organizations, to assist them with their day-to-day operation, as well as with the planning and implementation of their events and programs. The Assistant Director will also work with student leaders on educational training programs that focuses on self-governance, effective fiscal management, collaborative learning, ethical leadership, exploration of diversity, and service to the university, Syracuse, and global communities.
