Description UC Davis Health System Information Technology (UCDHS IT) accomplishes planning and implementation activities to service the Health System's needs for teaching, clinical high quality patient care, and research. The Client Services Support team is responsible for deployment, maintenance, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and support for client devices (Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Printers, Multi-function Devices, Scanners, Carts, etc.) and their connectivity to the network, the applications, and the databases as well as locally installed business productivity applications. The department provides technological leadership and support for the cost effective use of computers, software and networking including installation, training and problem resolution.

Qualifications REQUIRED -Experience supporting Windows and Macintosh clients and associated peripherals in an enterprise environment. -Experience supporting with the operation of Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects. -Experience supporting hardware, software and desktop applications as it relates to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, multi-function devices, scanners, etc. -Experience in remote support of clients through use of enterprise-level remote access tools. -Experience Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. -Experience with Antivirus software. -Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). -Experience Encryption software. -Experience asset management tools. -Experience writing and documenting technical procedures and workflows. -Experience in the support of Microsoft Office 365 and/or Exchange administration. -Knowledge of, and experience in the support of enterprise-level Anti-virus, Malware/Spam remediation software, and operating system-level firewall technologies. -Experience in leading technical staff or leading technical projects, preferably in a Healthcare environment.
PREFERRED -Experience in using and supporting Bomgar. -Experience with Service Now. -Experience VMware WorkSpace1 Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. -Experience with McAfee Antivirus software. -Experience with VMware Horizon, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution. -Experience with Bitlocker and Dell Data Protection (DDP). -Experience with Altiris.

Responsibilities The Client Services Support Lead (Systems Administrator 4) is the technical lead for the Client Services level 2 groups in the Technologies Operation Center (TOC). The Client Services level 2 team addresses all health system level 2 client incident and service requests. The Client Services Support Lead is responsible for Divisional Information Technology tasking's and projects. This includes but is not limited to: strategic planning, budgeting, level 3 technical escalations, project resource management, customer relationship, technical guidance, client systems planning and implementation, and other special projects as required.
