Board and Executive Committee Operations Manager
Responsible for all administrative and secretarial activities related to STLE Board of Directors, including direct support for Executive Director and Executive Committee members.
Serves as a liaison and resource to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee throughout all Board related activities, including oversight of the governance structure (Nominations, Governance, etc.)
Provides direction and support during planning process, as well as serve as point of contact during meetings related to housing and meeting logistics.
Contributes to planning and implementing of the Board of Directors/Executive Committee strategic initiatives, including working collaboratively across the organization to further STLE’s mission with other staff and volunteers
Supervises the maintenance and updating of all official STLE Board documents, such as Board Policy and Procedures.
Oversee the preparation of Board materials and communication, including agendas, board workbooks, etc.
STLE Committee Liaison
Responsible for all administrative and secretarial related activities related to assigned committees, task forces, and ad hoc groups
Provide consultation and guidance to chairs of assigned organizational groups to ensure business of the group is completely efficiently and effectively, including drafting of meeting agendas, recording of minutes and actions, coordination of meetings and conference calls based on STLE schedule, volunteer support and management, etc.
1-2 years’ experience in similar position preferred, but will consider candidates with more limited experience. Knowledge or experience related to associations a plus.
Superior organizational and customer service skills, the ability to work with a diverse range of personalities and an industrious and collaborative mentality.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, with flexibility in activities and duties based on STLE events and programs.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AMS data entry (iMIS preferred).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel to all required events as related to STLE education and conferences.
