This position will work closely with the Manager of New York Universitys Global Card Program, which includes purchasing cards, corporate travel account (CTA) cards, fleet cards, student club cards and travel & entertainment cards. This resource will work on the daily administration of card solutions and governance as a member of Financial Operations & Treasury, working closely with the user community and our bank providers on improving the entire program.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: MBA preferred but not required.
Required Experience: 3+ years of experience with financial analysis, procurement and/or accounts payable, including 1-2 years of payment card program administration.
Preferred Experience: Relevant experience from a global corporation or bank with overseas sites, complex higher education institution, or other global not-for-profit organization. Preferred experience also includes treasury and cash management capabilities encompassing payments methods.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Advanced skills with card program systems, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and ability to work collaboratively with different groups in a complex institution is essential. Working independently, multi-tasking, training and problem solving skills are required.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data in NU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.
