This position is responsible for managing multiple large dining hall/retail food service locations effectively and efficiently.
Plans and manages the long-range and day-to-day activities of food preparation and service functions in such a manner that it ensures an effective, efficient, and economical operation. Maintains control over labor, food, supply, utilities, and other costs. Prepares various reports in a clear and accurate manner. Maintains staff schedules across multiple units to ensure proper labor distribution in line with business needs.
Gives direction and assistance to all staff in the preparation of all food and/or provision of service according to the high standards of the department and in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and the Butler County Health Department.
Merchandises products and services available to customers.
Conducts training for full and part-time employees and student staff in order to improve work performance and job satisfaction. Evaluates work performance of staff on a continual basis. Addresses discipline as needed.
Prepares and maintains records, reports, and evaluations.

Associate’s degree in a related field (Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Dietetics, Management, etc.), 5-8 years of progressive experience in a restaurant or other food service operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
