Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Professional Practice Tower Health & with Reading Hospital CNO & nurse leaders, coordinates activities to support Reading Hospital's work to sustain Magnet nursing excellence & Magnet designation. Participates in writing, editing, evidence collection & preparation for Magnet redesignation documents & interim monitoring reporting; responsible for coordination of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program data demographic collection tool (DDCT) reporting & crosswalk preparation. Under the direction of the Tower Health AVP Nursing Professional Practice/Magnet Project Director for Reading Hospital coordinates hospital based nursing professional practice programs & initiatives that sustain and advance a nursing professional practice milieu that is congruent with the ANCC Magnet Model framework for nursing excellence. Coordinates Reading Hospital nursing shared governance, recognition programs and initiatives, award nominations, advancement programs, nursing community outreach & partnership initiatives, dissemination of nursing best practices through internal & external professional presentations & publications, facilitation of abstract writing & presentation development. Participates in the analysis of Magnet readiness for unit level nursing quality data for clinical quality, patient satisfaction & nurse satisfaction. Serves as advisor/facilitator to Magnet champion team & Professional Nurse Council. Serves as Reading Hospital resource for Magnet standards of excellence.
4 year / Bachelors Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Non-Nursing Bachelors degree with a MSN or Doctoral degree in Nursing
