The Development and Alumni Relations Assistant will assist with the execution of alumni engagement and donor relations activities to foster a connection with alumni and donors, assist with department events, and assist with annual fundraising efforts including acknowledgements and other activities and correspondence.
Qualifications: Associate degree (bachelor’s degree is preferred) and 1-3 years of experience preferably in a non-profit or higher education organization; familiarity with alumni relations programs; connection to the legal community, alumni engagement and annual fund experience; strong communications and interpersonal skills including oral, active listening, and written; strong project management skills; strong customer service skills; strong collaboration and teamwork skills; able to represent the law school with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity; professional maturity and judgement, and decisiveness; and self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality work in a timely manner. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Raiser’s Edge database. Flexibility to traveling locally, working evenings and weekends based on business needs.
