Rogue Community College invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Rogue Innovation Hub
General Statement of Responsibilities: Coordinates services, activities and programs of the multiuser, multipurpose Rogue Innovation Hub. Develops financial plans, budgets, staffing models, resource needs assessments, operational plans, and programming. Engages community partners and stakeholders. Fosters a culture of entrepreneurship.
Examples of Duties: 1. Coordinates goals and activities of the RIH programs. Plans for the delivery of events, seminars, workshops and other programming that focus on community needs. 2. Leads the development of long-range goals, budgets, business plans, master plans, and programs in conjunction with RCC leadership, RIH Advisory Board, and other appropriate stakeholders. 3. Serves as staff liaison to the RIH Advisory Board. Recruits board members, ensuring board represents breadth of constituents served; works with the board to develop program goals, budgets, and operational strategies. 4. Interacts with, builds, and maintains relationships with local and regional stakeholders including business leaders, government leaders, industry representatives, and workforce representatives. Ensures mechanism for stakeholder feedback and participation for consideration in program planning. 5. Builds, maintains, and oversees volunteer program to support RIH programming and activities. 6. Monitors and manages program budgets within applicable laws, regulations, laws, and policies. Ensures grant requirements are met, including grant reporting requirements, and monitors grant programs and services. 7. Coordinates the development of marketing activities and materials in conjunction with marketing department and others, as appropriate. 8. Regularly attends and participates in meetings, conferences, events, and trainings related to areas of position responsibilities, as a representative of the college, as assigned. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.
This is a Full-Time Faculty Professional position in the Community Education and Workforce Training department. Compensation is based on Grade C of the 2019-20 Full-Time Faculty Professional Salary Schedule.

Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Program Planning/Management, or related field, and two (2) years’ experience coordinating economic development or similar programs are required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience which ensures the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute for the requirement(s).
Only degrees received from an accredited institution will be accepted: accreditation must be recognized by the office of degree authorization, US Department of Education, as required by ORS 348.609. Final candidate will be required to provide official transcripts for required degree.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation is based on Grade C of the 2019-20 Full-Time Faculty Professional Salary Schedule.
