Amerine Eye Care's mission is to provide the highest quality eye care available to patients in an effective, caring and concerned manner. Superb practice management techniques are in place utilizing three lanes of equipment with integrated retinal photography, Humphry visual fields, and Heidelberg OCT testing capabilities.
As a professional team, the doctors and staff work together to develop office policies that insure delivery of the highest quality of eye care to patients.
Presently, as a primary eye care practitioner, the optometric physician assesses, diagnoses and treats patients with eye diseases and prescribes oral and topical medications to treat ocular conditions and removes superficial foreign bodies using appropriate topical anesthetics and medications. In the future, the practitioner should be prepared to fully participate in the delivery of the recently legislated advanced practice procedures which includes removal of benign skin lesions, Yag laser surgery and SLT procedures.
