DESCRIPTIONDevelops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assuranceprotocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials,production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities anditems are in compliance with both company quality assurance standardsand applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifiestrends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials andbulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary.Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling andstatistical process control procedures are followed. Ensures compliancewith internal and external specifications and standards such as ISOregulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing,documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.JOB COMPLEXITYWorks on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data requiresevaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment inselecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.SUPERVISIONNormally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, generallyinstructions on new assignments.EXPERIENCETypically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
