Reporting to the EMEA Head of HR Regulatory Affairs, the EMEA Regulatory Affairs Associate will oversee the HR aspects of regulatory initiatives in the EMEA region, implementing financial regulations across the regulated employee lifecycle ensuring connectivity with global regulatory activities, and partnering on governance, regulatory exams and supervisory interactions on HR topics and completing regulatory submissions.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain a sound understanding of the regulatory requirements impacting HR in the financial services sector and assist with understanding the impact on the Firm's businesses
Support the execution of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR) as it relates to HR
Lead associated projects with HR partners to enhance, change or implement new procedures to reflect change in regulatory requirements
Draft responses to, and communicate with, regulators throughout the EMEA region as part of their supervision of the firm's compliance with applicable regulations
Support the process to determine FCA/PRA Conduct Rule breaches and associated regulatory submissions
5 years of experience with 2/3 years in a regulatory environment
Legal/ compliance/ tax/ HRBP background with regulatory exposure
Compliance knowledge is a plus
Experience in leading projects is a plus
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
