The Information Technology (IT) program in the College of Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia (UMC) seeks candidates to teach IT courses at the undergraduate level for the IT program starting January 1, 2020. The position is for one year, ending on December 31, 2020, with a title of Lecture, Assistant Teaching Professor, or Associate Teaching Professor, depending on experience. The new hire will teach eight online courses during the year. Some of these courses will be new development.
The qualified candidate will have at least a M.S. Degree in related areas and some teaching experience. A Ph.D. degree is preferred. Information Technology certifications, online teaching, or industry experience is a plus. The new hire must work effectively in a team environment and love to work with students.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 based on education and experience.
