Description Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) Child Development and Family Studies (Family Studies emphasis) The Department of Learning Sciences and Human Development at West Virginia University seeks applicants for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Child Development and Family Studies to begin January or August 2020. Applicants should have a strong background and scholarly record in family science. We are especially interested in candidates whose research is complimentary to current faculty expertise. The successful candidates will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, publish high quality research, seek external research funding, and engage in service to the department, college, and university. We are committed to building a diverse faculty and are interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and inclusion in higher education through their teaching, research, and service.
Anticipated Workload:
Target Start Date: January or August 2020
