The Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking an Appointment and Promotion Coordinator (Faculty Affairs Coordinator) to join its team. This position works closely with leadership and senior administrators, faculty and staff. The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of faculty affairs functions including but not limited to: â¢Â Â Â Coordinate adjunct and part-time lecturer hiring and employment process for the Price School.Â â¢Â Â Â Assist with posting positions through required USC systems and managing applicant pools. â¢Â Â Â Assist supervisor with drafting new hire offer letters and ongoing semester contract letters. Responsible for updating the faculty contract system for all adjuncts.Â â¢Â Â Â Maintains and coordinates adjunct faculty review schedules and assists with review materials as needed. â¢Â Â Â Maintains master adjunct faculty listings school-wide and by department.Â â¢Â Â Â Maintain personnel files for adjuncts and update the USC Gold files as needed. â¢Â Â Â Help with the development of faculty onboarding materials for the Price school. â¢Â Â Â Provide assistance to faculty with for administrative matters such as Workday access and other general inquiries related to appointments and onboarding. â¢Â Â Â Prepare reports for management on various teaching and faculty related data and trends as requested. â¢Â Â Â Help with the development of faculty databases and reports as needed. â¢Â Â Â Serves as cross-trained backup and overflow support for faculty affairs in Price.Â â¢Â Â Â Other special projects as assigned.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills as well as analytic capacity and strong attention to detail. Bachelorâs degree and minimum 3 years of experience in a related faculty affairs position or human resources in an academic setting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook. Experience with other databases and large volumes of data preferred.
