The Price School of Public Policy has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant II (Receptionist) in the Academic Programs Office.
Job responsibilities include:
Maintains unit or departmental database and related records.Â Enters and/or verifies database transactions.Â Provides technical support and design of enhancement.
Manages the front office.Â Provides guidance and direction to student workers.Â Schedules, assigns, or prioritizes workloads.Â Sets appropriate deadlines.
Researches and gathers data for program reports.Â Conducts preliminary analysis of data.Â Recommends report content and format to display findings most effectively.Â
Screens and prioritizes incoming calls and office walk-ins, determining what contact or action is required for satisfactory disposition.Â Responds to inquiries or requests for information or refers to supervisor, as appropriate.
Organizes and expedites flow of work through supervisorâs office and/or administrative department such as test proctoring, working with faculty on course needs such as copying and scanning.Â Initiates follow-up action.Â Serves as resource to others on departmental and university procedures or in the resolution of moderate to complex problems or issues.Â Interacts with university offices and/or supervisorâs subordinates to facilitate communications and information exchange.Â
Composes and produces a variety of business correspondent, reports, confidential documents and/or forms, and related materials or guides the work of other staff who produce these materials.Â Reviews and signs, as authorized.Â
Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information such as student, faculty, or staff files.Â
Qualified candidates must possess prior customer service experience in a fast paced environment.
Minimum Education: Bachelorâs degree
Minimum Experience: 3 years
