MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The candidate for the position of Integration Developer must meet the following qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in information technology.
Experience connecting to data, whether through direct connections to databases or through a data access layer (e.g., API).
Extensive experience developing integrations, ETLs, data flows, and APIs using integration platforms.
Foundational knowledge of the development and configuration of software solutions.
Ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.
Foundational understanding of security concepts and secure code development techniques.
Experience writing test cases for new and existing code to ensure compatibility and stability.
Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide both detailed information as well as summaries to peers and supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate for the position of Integration Developer has the following qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc.
More than four years of experience in information technology.

The Integration Developer for Enterprise Data & Analytics designs, develops, and maintains integrations across applications. The Integration Developer ensures that his or her solutions balance technical excellence with usability and accessibility and deliver best-in-class solutions to support a broad range of customers, partners, and key stakeholders. As a member of ITS, the Integration Developer demonstrates ITS values in action.
The Integration Developer:
Designs, develops, and implements integration projects. Leverages integration tools to enable enterprise applications. Works independently or with a team to gather and interpret integration specifications, data requirements, and data mappings. Analyzes and tunes integrations to optimize performance and reliability.
Communicates and presents problem-solving rationale within a variety of settings and to diverse audiences. Works collaboratively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to understand specifications and deliver features based on business requirements. Participates in open and honest sharing of ideas and opinions. Shares timely information freely and openly across the organization. Readily seeks assistance and support.
Supports the planning of projects and tasks. Contributes to the development and execution of best-in-class processes and procedures. Ensures alignment with university and ITS goals and customer needs.
