The University Of Minnesota School of Dentistry invites applications for a full time, 12 month/per year, clinical- track faculty position in the Division of TMD & Orofacial Pain (Department of Diagnostic and Biological) at the level of assistant or associate professor. The person holding this position will join a strong group of faculty members within the Division of TMD & Orofacial Pain in the Department of Diagnostic and Biological Sciences.
Include teaching, patient care, developing a research program, and being involved in scholarly activities and services. It is expected that the candidate will contribute to the development of the profession through participation in national and/or international associations, publications, research and/or related scholarly activities. They will also continue to pursue growth within the profession, keep current with the field, broaden their knowledge and expertise, and contribute to outreach activities that support the School of Dentistry's mission. The selected candidate must have training in TMD & Orofacial Pain and provide service through participation in governance of the department and/or the University.
DDS or equivalent degree
Minnesota Dental License by start date of position
Experience with clinically-based pain management
Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain (ABOP) status
Demonstrated track-record of focused scholarly activity peer-reviewed publications
