Conduct complete reviews and approve all College of Engineering (CoE) external sponsor proposals for timely approval process at the Dean’s Office. Function as a resource for investigators and department administrators regarding information about Federal and Institutional rules and regulations governing externally sponsored projects, and CoE Policies and Procedures.
This person will be responsible for the resolution of departmental and University queries on CoE policy for sponsored research, and will assist with implementation of educational initiatives for CoE customers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual research data reporting. Assist in maintaining the CoE cost sharing database.
Represent the College of Engineering on various groups and task teams.
4-5 years of experience in grant administration related to proposal processing with Federal and Non-Federal sponsors. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Detailed knowledge of University’s sponsored research policies. Good computer skills with proficiency in Excel, MSWord, Acrobat.
Excellent communication skills.
Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
Experience with Business Objects Research and Financial Data Warehouses.
