Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Analyst IV to assist in the review, analysis and procurement of technology, software and accessories for Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. The Administrative Analyst IV will establish and recommend standards for ordering supported products in accordance with corporate polices, security and legal compliance. Will assist with the management of vendor relations providing products to the institution.
Minimum Education and Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of professional experience involving the review, analysis and evaluation of budgets, organizational and administrative practices, and the recommendation of improved methods, preferably in a large business, government agency or educational institution. *Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Exchange, Excel & Word). Working knowledge of Dell, HP, and Apple product lines. *Effective analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated oral and written communications skills. *Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to communicate technological compatibility effectively to clients. *Ability to multi-task between related issues and requests and take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
FileMaker experience a plus.
