The Barnard Archives and Special Collections offers fellowships working under the supervision of the Associate Director of the Archives and Special Collections. This year, the Donor Outreach and Pedagogy fellow will gain hands-on experience in an academic archives and special collections.
The main focus of this fellowship will be to work on a collaborative archiving project with the donor of a collection of papers documenting the founding of a New York City arts organization. The fellow will work with the donor and other contributors to the collection to organize and describe the collection, and do outreach to promote its use.

Required Qualification Summary:
Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a graduate-level program in archival management, library sciences, or related fields.
Must be available to work weekdays.
Must make commitment to work, on average, 10 hours of work a week, with time off for Winter and Spring vacation. Work schedules are flexible and the position may be extended between 1-2 months as budgets and schedules allow.
