Director, Center for Health Services Research, Regenstrief Institute
Regenstrief Institute, Inc. (RI) and the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) are seeking an innovative individual to serve as Director of The William M. Tierney Center for Health Services Research at Regenstrief Institute. The Director provides strategic vision, intellectual and academic leadership, and administrative oversight to the Center, and promotes its mission to improve the delivery and outcomes of health care through research in innovative advances in health services. Along with a university faculty appointment, the Director of this Center reports to the President/CEO of Regenstrief Institute.

Maintenance of the robust and fluid working partnership with the VA HSR&D Center for Health Information and Communication, continually fostering collaboration across VA and non-VA platforms.
Programmatic opportunities that can support the work of center faculty, including those who are dually appointed in the VA and Regenstrief Institute
Recruitment, mentoring, and training strategies that intersect with, complement, and expand existing research and methodological foci, with the goal of increasing the impact of Regenstrief’s health services research.
mobilize the future efforts of the Center’s multidisciplinary, collaborative community, and advance interdisciplinary research partnerships
Ample resources for research and collaboration, including:
Regenstrief Institute’s Centers for Aging Research, Biomedical Informatics, and Health Innovation & Implementation Science
Veteran Health Indiana and the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, including the VA HSR&D Center for Health Information and Communication
Local and regional government and community-based organization partners, such as the Indiana State Department of Health, Central Indiana Councils on Aging, John H. Boner Community Center, and Shepherd Community Center
MD or PhD (or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, leadership, and long-range program development
Experience equivalent to an appointment with tenure as an Associate Professor or Professor
