Who We Are The Supervisory Program is part of the CIB Finance & Business Management organisation. The Program was set up to improve the governance, and Front Office risk control environment surrounding regulatory & business pre-trade checks, and oversight tools. The Supervisory Program team work within an exciting and busy environment managing ever- changing regulations and controls in order to facilitate correct monitoring, review and reporting of business activities. There is a strong focus on maintaining strong and consistent controls within the Program ensuring that these controls are designed effectively and can be sustained across the CIB Front office personnel to mitigate operational risk. The Opportunity The Associate willjoin a dynamic, global team responsible forthe delivery of end-to-end requirements across multiple regions and lines ofbusiness, including partnering closely with other functional groups such as ControlManagers, Compliance, Operation, Technology, Risk and Audit.
Partner with development team and functional groups to ensure controls are properly designed and operate effectively.
Work with stakeholders to define scope, benefits, deliverables and timeline
Create and manage technology & operational delivery plans
Work with multiple technology and business teams and drive the discovery and development of the product roadmap
Communicate with key stakeholders, including implementation plans and training
Perform UAT and technology release support
Proactively identify and resolve barriers, risks and interdependencies
Identify and communicate control gaps, risks and propose improvements
Drive progress through effective escalation of issues and concerns
Address user queries/issues in a timely manner
Experience working in a project environment
Ability to shape and deliver small projects
Business analysis experience including requirements management and test management
Understanding of Agile software development and Jira
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders demonstrated through strong organisational skills
Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
Strong technical skills including data manipulation and advanced Excel user
Experience in Financial Services, Operational Risk Management, Control Oversight and/or similar role
Strong presentation skills including generating presentations and effectively communicating to management
Creative and innovative problem solver, ability to communicate new ideas, and inspire support
