How will I help?
The purpose of the Corporate Governance Manager, BT Open Services is to provide quality license governance support to Australian Financial Services Licensee (AFSL) operators, so that the AFSL has the guidance and framework to meet its governance obligations of running an AFSL. The Corporate Governance Manager is an experienced and competent compliance and risk professional with practical experience in the implementation of a risk management framework, providing strategic advice and support to AFSLs. The role is significantly broad and requires a highly technical specialist that is able to operate at the executive/board level, down to the operational execution aspects of the AFSL. The individual is a key consultant in supporting the AFSL in how it manages its AFSL obligations.

What do I need?
Professional services orientated individual, high touch, passionate, and execution focused
10 years plus experience in a similar role with a strong record of achievement.
Tertiary qualifications in a business or finance related discipline.
Qualifications in a financial planning related discipline at diploma level (FASEA).
Extensive compliance and/or risk management experience in a wealth management environment, and an understanding of advice, super, financial products policies and processes.
Understanding of better practice within the financial planning industry.
Experience in engaging and managing risk and compliance issues in complex business areas.
