1.Manage the College's Foreign National and Foreign Vendor Tax Compliance 2.Assist college personnel with Foreign National and Foreign Vendor questions and issues. 3.Foster continuous improvement in Foreign National Tax Compliance by ensuring that college personnel understand Federal requirements. 4.Prepare Foreign National Policies and Procedures to guide college personnel and outline the internal business flow between Human Resources, Student Services, and Accounts Payable. 5.Prepare 1042-S tax forms for the college during tax season. 6.Keep up to date with Foreign National laws and IRS tax changes. 7.Research tax compliance topics, providing individualized or targeted information/training to college personnel as issues arise. 8.Document Business Office procedures. 9.Responsible for the college EAGLE program (Enhancing Accountability in Government through Leadership and Education). 10.Complete written narratives for financial processes as required for EAGLE compliance. 11.Perform financial and compliance testing of internal controls. 12.Perform compliance and investigative audits within the Business Office and Financial Aid. 13.Complete EAGLE template as required by the Office of the State Controller 14.Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations to guide the college toward compliance. 15.Review audit findings and recommendations to determine that action occurred. 16.Assist with the accounting functions related to grant programs and other special project accounts. 17.Assist Program Managers in the financial reporting and other administrative requirements of their grants. 18.Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of all applicable fiscal reports 19.Ensure Interscope is kept up-to-date and accurate. 20.Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Controller or Vice President.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related bachelor's degree with an accounting/finance concentration.
