Harvest Overview: Harvest Fund Advisors is a Philadelphia-area based investment adviser managing $10+ billion in investment funds for marquee institutional investors. Harvest focuses extensively on energy and energy infrastructure, including midstream energy publicly traded partnerships (known as Master Limited Partnerships, or MLPs). Blackstone announced its acquisition of Harvest in 2017.
Job Title: Analyst
Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of current and potential investment opportunities.
Interact frequently with industry analysts, industry participants, customers and vendors.
Visit senior management; attend industry conferences.
Comply strictly with relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must have:
1-2 years of professional experience.
Experience in investment banking is preferred.
Solid financial modeling and spreadsheet skills.
Fluency with financial analytics and analytical tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.
General understanding of energy infrastructure and MLPs.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
