The Senior Workday System Analyst works as part of a global collaborative team supporting the global Workday human resources system within Alcoa Corporation. You will play a critical part in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing internal solutions, diagnosing and analyzing problems as well as enabling the continued growth of the system. It acts within the System Solutions Team as a steward overseeing and supporting system configuration, setup values, business processes, security, user access as well as advising over integrations and functionalities of upcoming new modules and system releases.
Maintain and support the system ensuring that functionalities and data are accurate.
Ensure setup values and configurations are up to date and working accordingly to their related business processes.
Support multiple live HR modules over the system (HCM, Compensation, Advance Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent and Learning)
Support global customer base system related questions and problems.
Participate in the system governance meetings providing updates and advices
Support and perform internal compliance activities
Support future Workday system releases like providing technical reviews, suggestions and regression testing
Diagnose and analyse root cause problems in order to propose fixes and/or improvements
Design and propose process changes, as a continuous improvement approach, to optimize system usability not only for end-users but also for the internal administrative team
Take on and lead Workday related projects that connect to the system, to other systems and/or are internally necessary for the system longevity

Experience / Qualifications:
Experience with Workday system.
Both oral and written English fluency.
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office package (specially Excel).
Basic understanding of relational databases and cloud solutions.
Recommended 2+ years of experience supporting a Workday implementation and/or supporting a live Workday system instance.
Knowledge and experience over Workday Business Processes, Security and Accesses, Domains and Policies as well as Fields, Values and Reporting.
Deep experience over any two Workday modules like HCM, Compensation, Advance Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent or Learning
Remedy system – BMC Software acquaintance (or similar issue ticketing system).
