This role is responsible to drive the governance process for Silicon Valley Bank's Global Services organization (which includes IT, PMO, banking operations, and client service). The role of governance is to ensure the organization is on track to deliver against our established goals and objectives and in alignment with our strategies while adhering to our established principles, policies, and standards.
This is primarily an individual contributor role with oversight of a business analyst. The role is responsible to facilitate the reporting of performance metrics (KPIs and other management information), to review those metrics & MI monthly, to facilitate a monthly leadership steering committee to review organizational performance, and to ensure action items are followed up and completed. The role will also be responsible to provide information coming out of these meetings to other committees.
The role will:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to elevate existing KPI reporting - identify gaps or areas of improvement (including visualization and automation)
Analyze KPI data and create presentations to facilitate strategic decision making
Provide oversight of Operations Service Level Agreement reporting to ensure key deliverables are consistently met
Perform librarian responsibilities for the Global Service policy library, ensuring policies are well-maintained and current
Qualifications Required Education & Experience
5-7 years of governance and management experience with a bank, financial institution, fintech, or financial services company
Experience reporting to senior management, the Board, and/or Committees of the Board
Strong analytic & problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and an investigative nature
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, internal customers, and senior management
