UW Medicine Enterprise Access & Innovation has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Systems/Reporting Developer. This individual will be responsible for analyzing information (contact center trends and issue patterns) as well as developing models, reports, analyses, and recommendations to assist strategic planning and decision making. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and developing "best-in-class" clinic and access reporting models. The Business Systems/Reporting Developer will be responsible for building and configuring new systems, as well as monitoring and maintaining existing systems.This position has a possibility of working from home or within the UW Medicine Contact Center location in downtown Seattle, based on mutual agreement.UW Medicine Contact Center's goal is to deliver excellent service by providing consistent, high quality, personalized experiences for all internal and external customers, every time. The Contact Center serves as the first point of contact for new and returning patient inbound calls for the clinical entities of UW Medicine, including Harborview Medical Center, Northwest Hospital, UW Medical Center, and UW Neighborhood Clinics.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Custom reporting (e.g. clinic access data, staff statics, telephony data, etc.), data analysis and data validation.System analysis and design. Administer business systems.Maintain current support systems (e.g. SharePoint, Tableau, databases, etc.).Collaborate with other contact center analysts on data collection, results, and report technologies. Support the organization with adhoc reporting and data analysis as needed. Develop and maintain benchmark metrics (e.g. cost per call, patient access, etc.).Account for clinic activity reports relating to appointment categories such as no show and cancellation rates.Provide system-wide tracking through the life-cycle of internal and external referrals.Create reports to track trends and utilization on a timely basis, making recommendations that will reduce call times and increase productivity and call resolution statistics. Responsible for preparing periodic reports that monitor the current performance of contact center metrics. Document processes for training and redundancy. Provide miscellaneous reporting support and guidance to other analysts. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field AND 4-5 years of professional experience to include:3-5 years of experience as an analyst;2-3 years of experience developing Tableau visualizations;2-3 years Business Objects experience;AND, 2+ years of experience working through the complete report development cycle.An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.DESIRED:Experience with Epic datasets. Experience with Avaya Call Management System datasets.Previous experience in a healthcare environment and knowledge of the healthcare industry.Experience in designing, implementing and supporting critical, high-availability reporting systems.Complete and demonstrable understanding of BI reporting best practices. 1+ years of experience with Epic Clarity Data Models.Experience with SQL design and optimization.Experience developing and administering SharePoint (2013 or newer, 2016 a plus) sites. Demonstrated excellence in client interaction, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cooperative effort. Experience working with data projects, data sets, and data extraction. Experience handling diverse work assignments that range in duration and time sensitivity, with frequent interruptions and emergent priorities. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL.Advance experience developing reports using data visualization tools. Working knowledge of other Microsoft products including Word, Visio, and Outlook.
