Fitting right into the rural character is St Christopher's Inn, A Ministry of the Franciscan Friars of Atonement. They have been a fixture in Graymoor - atop of Holy Mountain since the early 1900's, offering external care for men through medical care, food, shelter, love and respect. Spread out over an impressive 180 acres, providing vocational opportunities to the clients, a spiritual opportunity to meditate, find peace and socially with summer cook-outs and picnics. Accreditations: Fully accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) St Christopher's Inn provides fully comprehensive services including addiction treatment, health care, psychiatric services and spiritual guidance at their 177 bed shelter. Programs include a Residential Center, Transitional Living, Day Rehabilitation, Medical and Diagnostic Treatment, Medication Assisted Treatment, Medically Supervised Outpatient Withdrawal Program.

Responsible for monitoring medication side effects and participating in the treatment of clients with psychiatric disorders. Reports to the Director of Psychiatric Services and Director of Nursing.
Provides psychiatric evaluations for clients with pre-existing or newly diagnosed psychiatric Evaluates clients for the need for psychiatric interventions. Initiates treatment of psychiatric disorders.
A daily caseload that is in line with patient centered holistic treatment.
Consults with and advises the Medical Director, Counseling staff and Director of Nursing Services regarding client psychiatric issues.
Prescribes, follows-up and reviews all prescribed medication.
Determines acceptability of clients.
Referrals to appropriate institutions for clients in need of a higher level of care.
Master’s degree with3 years’ professional experience and NYS Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. Experience in alcohol and drug rehabilitation preferred.
