Summary: The Compliance Analyst is responsible for the proactive monitoring of new and existing account relationships to prevent or minimize financial and reputational risk to the Bank. This role primarily supports the overall direction of the bank’s compliance related to deposit activities by performing, or assisting in the performance of, the primary duties listed below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Review third-party due diligence information for new and existing accounts.
Develop an understanding of normal and expected account activity through due diligence, transaction activity, and customer communication.
Ongoing monitoring of deposit account transaction activity including the use of NuPoint, NuMonitor, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
Compile and provided information to facilitate filing of Currency Transaction Reports.
Compile information necessary for recurring government filing.
Obtain CAMS certification within 6-months of start date.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Business or Finance; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Banking experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Confidentiality is a MUST.
Must possess a high level of attention to detail with an emphasis on understanding business accounts.
Basic understanding of accounts receivable and payable.
Must have strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and categorize transaction types and volumes; compare and contrast with other similar accounts.
Ability to understand federal and state law and regulation, and how it applies to certain types of accounts.
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with other staff members and customers.
At least an intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft office products and Windows.
Ability to navigate various types of software.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Understanding of INB core and related systems including CSI IQ.
This individual should have the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
