Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Candidates must have a M.D. degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and licensure in the State of Missouri or eligible for such. Teaching of medical students, resident, fellows, community providers and NNPs will be required. A strong commitment to research, clinical and/or laboratory experience is desirable.
Clinical service includes inpatient consultative service and an outpatient ID clinic. The combined medical staff includes over 150 full time site-based Saint Louis University School of Medicine faculty. Patient care activities are based at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital located immediately adjacent to the Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in midtown St. Louis. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a 190 bed, free-standing tertiary care children's hospital with a complete range of surgical and medical pediatric subspecialties.
