Salve Regina University's Department of Administration of Justice is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer in digital forensics to fill an immediate vacancy. The selected candidate will act as the Director of Salve Regina University's Digital Forensics Lab in addition to fulfilling all requirements for lecturer positions currently serving the university.
The Salve Regina Digital Forensics lab is currently the largest and most advanced digital forensics laboratory in the State of Rhode Island based on recent technological acquisitions and investments.
A master's degree in computer forensics, computer science or related field is required. A PhD in computer forensics, computer science or similar field is preferred.
In all cases each candidate will be evaluated also for their career experience, stacked credentials such as CISSP, CCE, Security +, CEH, etc.
Prior teaching experience is required.
The selected candidate will have demonstrated-- either through professional experience or academia-- the ability to teach courses not limited to advanced digital forensics, mobile forensics, malware forensics, certified ethical hacking, and network forensics.
The candidate must be Cellebrite certified, or be willing to be Cellebrite certified upon being offered a position at the university.
Moreover, the candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of progressive administrative leadership experience and will be accustomed to programmatic development, course development and management.
The candidate will be responsible to provide curriculum advice to both undergraduate and graduate students who will be assigned.
