Provides leadership by developing and implementing effective work procedures and work schedules for M&O personnel and evaluating and documenting work performance.
Directly performs M&O tasks as needed.
Establishes and implements preventive maintenance procedures for physical plant, equipment and grounds program, as well as provide training to the M&O personnel on these procedures.
Reviews work orders from faculty and staff to assign and communicate tasks to M&O personnel and to communicate outcome to faculty and staff.
Plans and orders supplies, parts, and equipment for proper maintenance of the physical plant.
Oversees the asset management system by receiving, delivering, and installing all equipment and tagging equipment with KCTCS property numbers.
Provides key management assistance to Public Safety and Security personnel.
Provides assistance to Public Safety and Security personnel as needed.
Supervises and carries out programs pertaining to fire safety, environmental safety, and health requirements which include personal inspections, tests, written reports and recommendations and arranges for any necessary corrective actions.
Manages, inspects, and evaluates the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.
Supervises assigned staff.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
