The College of Business and Economics invites a tenure-track, 10-month, Assistant Professor position beginning August 2020.
Qualifications:A Ph.D. in economics required. ABDs will be considered with a completion date of February 2021. The successful applicants are expected to be excellent teachers and develop a research program appropriate to the field. Preferred areas of teaching and research are in industrial organization or health economics.
Responsibilities:The expected teaching load is 18 credit hours (6 courses) per year. Topics may include Principles of Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics and other Microeconomic Courses.
College of Business and Economics:The College is accredited by AACSB for both its business and accounting programs. It conducts undergraduate business programs with majors/concentrations in an array of business fields and offers a growing number of graduate programs. The College plays a prominent role in providing leadership to local/regional firms, governments, and non-profit organizations.
