We've established "LBG Labs" and building multi-functional, co-located teams with the freedom to bring technology to into our business. We're seeking to create new, and improve existing, products and services to help us really make a real difference to our customers.
One key area benefiting from this approach is our Insurance and Wealth (I&W) Risk Portfolio that handles c350 risks owned by teams across Insurance & Wealth Transformation.
This Risk Governance Senior Manager role is your opportunity to showcase your organisational skills. But more importantly it's a chance for you to work with your team to make sure the right things happen, at the right time. We'll be working together to focus on delivering an excellent experience for our customers.
So what else would you be doing?
You'll effectively govern the risk portfolio, working with the Lab teams and externally to ensure that best practice in risk management is being followed throughout the risk lifecycle.
You'll work with senior stakeholders across the divisional risk functions and into Group Transformation, ensuring that the Lab is managing those relationships effectively.
You'll ensure that risks are appropriately identified, scored and mitigated, with the emphasis on handling the population of material risks. This involves maintaining and reporting on progress across the whole risk portfolio, resolving and raising issues as they arise.
You'll have a role to play in helping our Lab to deliver solutions, working with delivery teams in an oversight role to ensure that what we do effectively delivers solutions for identified risks.
You'll work with colleagues in I&W Transformation to help create effective business cases for material risk remediation projects.
You'll be responsible for the annual resilience review that assesses the effectiveness of the CBP-supporting IT systems, and acting as the interlock between the central group team and SMEs within the engineering areas.
You'll deputise for the Engineering Lead in a wide range of situations.
