Position Summary: The Global Master Production Scheduling (MPS) Process Manager will establish standards of performance for manufacturing MPS and Resupply Planning functions globally. The role will be responsible for developing programs to assess current performance against the standards and design programs to continually improve performance. The MPS and Resupply Planning processes will be coordinated with the S&OP process so that the two process are working in concert to support the Corporation’s Integrated Business Plan (IBP) design. The Global MPS Process Manager will work closely with the Global Business Unit (GBU) IBP teams to ensure processes are in place to develop MPS and Resupply Plans by SKU needed to support future demand as well as maximize plant efficiencies, achieve inventory targets and meet required delivery dates. The environment includes a mix of Make to Stock, Make to Order and Assemble to Order strategies and is global in nature with plants in multiple countries and covering four GBUs.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Maintain standards for the MPS and resupply planning processes within the company’s SAP system.
In coordination with the IBP and the Master Data Governance (MDG) process managers, establish methodologies to maintain planning master data in SAP and IBP to support the overall MPS and S&OP processes.
Ensure MPS and resupply plans support the S&OP Operations Planning process for each of the GBUs.
Develop expertise in SAP IBP’s tool for optimizing inventory targets and supply planning.
Review and align all scheduling activities based upon the overall planning cycle and the nature of the manufacturing plant to leverage target run rate efficiencies to achieve cost targets
Drive scheduling processes to ensure that the available-to-promise (ATP) function is working properly, particularly in support of the Order to Cash work stream.
Contribute to the development of a Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process as a methodology to ensure effective communication is occurring to all stakeholders as to how we are doing against plans and the implications of execution issues.

Skills and Technical Expertise:
Bachelor Degree or greater in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
3+ years of leadership or management experience
10+ years of experience in MPS and/or S&OP
Strong Computer System Skills, including ERP/MRP/S&OP (preferably SAP)
Preferred: Experience with SAP’s IBP Tool or similar tool
Excellent understanding of the master data implications on the planning and scheduling process
Experience working across the depth of the organization from senior management to shop floor personnel
Project management experience leading at least two projects related to MPS and S&OP
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
