The Diversity Coordinator will assist in advancing the Firm’s global diversity agenda. The role reports to global diversity and inclusion senior manager with ultimate reporting to the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion and will work closely with a team of five professionals based in the London, New York and Washington, DC offices.
The Diversity Coordinator will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Diversity and Inclusion team in the oversight and administration of the Firm’s Global Diversity and Women’s Initiatives, including implementing the Firm’s diversity and inclusion programs on a global platform. The Diversity and Inclusion team executes global Firm strategies related to recruitment, engagement and client relations, which are critical to our 2020 strategic plan. Duties and Accountabilities
Provide guidance and support to the Firm’s affinity groups and women’s networks as needed, including assisting with affinity group professional development programs and responding to follow-up communications and action items;
Plan, coordinate and execute aspects of periodic events and programs across offices for the Firm’s Global Diversity and Women’s Initiatives, including both internal and client-focused speaker series and other events;
Provide administrative support for sponsorships of professional conferences and events relating to the Global Diversity Initiative and Global Women’s Initiative, including solicitation, registration and preparation of attendees, preparation of invoices and creation of ads and other marketing materials (in coordination with the internal Marketing team) for journal and other submissions;
Help maintain current diversity statistics and respond to RFPs and benchmarking surveys requested by clients and outside organizations; review and analyze diversity statistics and support preparing narrative responses;
Support the Firm’s diversity recruitment efforts on an ongoing basis and through special projects as assigned;
Assist in maintaining content for Firm’s website and intranet;
Provide ongoing support to the Firm’s global and regional diversity and women’s initiative committees, including scheduling regular committee meetings, preparing materials, drafting minutes and assisting in other projects as assigned;
Maintain clear, effective lines of communication, keeping all stakeholders well informed regarding critical issues; and
Participate in building and fostering a culture that is team- and one-firm-oriented, collegial, and committed to professional excellence.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a professional services environment in an administrative role;
Demonstrable enthusiasm for D&I agenda;
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and report statistical data;
Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred;
Consultative, collaborative, and client service-oriented approach;
An undergraduate degree, with advanced degrees preferred.
Strong organizational and management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
Excellent professional presence;
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
Excellent relationship-management skills: proven ability to work effectively with and influence colleagues at all organisational levels within a professional services partnership;
High energy colleague who enjoys both the operational and strategic sides of the role, shows great flexibility and is willing to take on a “hands on” approach;

Location and Reporting
This role is based in New York, with required periodic international travel.
This role reports to the global diversity and inclusion senior manager with ultimate reporting to the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion.
