About the Department The Group Governance, Risk and Compliance function is comprised of : Group Compliance, Group Legal and Secretariat, Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This invovles identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.
Job Responsibilities Credit Policy and Credit Strategy Development for Digital Bank (70%)
Design, test, build and maintain credit risk policies and strategies with Group CPPM team, Avatec.ai JV, and other alternative data providers
Analyze and monitor the credit policy changes against target KPIs and thresholds
Analyze data against past and expected trends to explain the variance / performance drivers of credit policy changes
Perform relevant UATs for credit policy and credit strategy changes
Support ad-hoc analyses
Stakeholder Management (30%)
Build relationships and networks with stakeholders across the organisation including Avatec.ai, providing support and facilitating sessions where appropriate, with the business and other support functions.
Work closely with key teams across the Group and Countries to drive and deliver credit policy & strategy change (e.g. Business, Credit, Operation, Technology, etc.).
Assist the Head of Group Retail Credit Transformation to advise the Group Credit and the Digital Bank Leadership and working level teams on the credit strategies, process changes, implementation timescale, impact and benefits of Digital Bank initiatives.
Min 7 years of experience in Retail Credit, preferably experiences with FI or fintech in credit risk policy setting, risk strategy and analytics in ASEAN markets
Bachelor degree in quantitative science, financial or business management
Hands-on experience with Python, R, SAS and other analytics and data manipulation tools
Good logical thinking and problem solving skills
Able to work with internal functional teams and external partners
