The Radiography program at the University of Missouri invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, Assistant/Associate Clinical/Teaching Professor.
The University of Missouri Radiography program is well-established and accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. The MU Radiography program emphasizes teaching excellence resulting in highly sought-after graduates with a consistent 100% pass rate on national board exams. This program includes clinical experiences in Magnetic Resonance and Computed Tomography. The Radiography program is one of five programs in the Clinical & Diagnostic Sciences Department, which values a collegial environment that supports the intellectual and professional growth of students and faculty. The Clinical & Diagnostic Sciences Department is one of seven departments within the School of Health Professions, a rapidly expanding school within the University of Missouri.
Successful candidates will hold an earned Master's or Doctoral degree, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists current registration in radiography (or equivalent), at least two years clinical experience in radiography and at least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program. The ideal candidate will have a history of effective teaching and an excellent reputation in radiography. Preference may be given to candidates possessing certifications in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or other advanced modalities.
