Institutional Securities Group Product Operations (ISGPO) partners closely with Sales & Trading and our Clients to process daily activities, develop and implement new products and services, as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes.

Financing & Collateral Operations is the global support organization for Bank Resource Management (BRM). Businesses supported include Securities Lending, Firm & Client Financing and the Collateral Management process for OTC Derivatives.
Role Description & Responsibilities
The role holder will be placed within Triparty Optimisation team of Financing and Collateral Operations department.
Prime responsibilities will include:
- Daily collateral optimisation for Fixed Income and Equity book across 4 main triparties using internal and external systems that includes:
- pledging and recalling collateral
- monitoring settlements level
- projecting required value of collateral T0 and T+1
- monitoring liabilities T0 and T+1
- responding on adhoc queries from desk and other operations team
- managing Record Date Risk
- Daily interaction with external (triparty, bilateral clients) and internal stakeholders (Bank Resource Management (BRM), Treasury, Tax, Position Services, Settlements, Technology , Glasgow Middle office)
- Direct impact on Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Capital Requirement calculation and management
- Active participation in regulatory and BU driven projects and initiatives
FCO department and Triparty Optimisation team in particular will provide successful candidate with the chance to work in a high-pace environment along strong team of SMEs. Given close links to BRM desk triparty optimisation team is a great place for someone who would like to learn more about Stock Loan and Repo business. While there are number of daily tasks. no day is the same and there are plenty of opportunities to step up and show you forces on controls and risk reduction. FCO organisation is focused on LEAN and individuals are encouraged to raise and implement LEAN ideas no matter how small. Finally, FCO position in the trade lifecycle provides individual with the outstanding opportunity to be in the heart of the action and have exposure to many teams in Operations, Treasury and BU. There are many projects going on and plenty of space to get involved.
